PETALING JAYA: Solarvest Holdings Bhd has been issued an unusual market activity (UMA) query over the sharp rise in its share price recently.
The solar photovoltaic system specialist’s share price jumped as much as 21 sen or 20.4% to RM1.24 today. At 2.40pm, it was trading 13 sen or 12.6% higher at RM1.16 on 36.79 million shares done.
The stock has surged about 50% since early February.
Solarvest was listed in September last year. Since its listing, its share price has more than tripled compared with its IPO price of 35 sen per share.
