Eversendai awarded seven contracts worth RM288m

PETALING JAYA: Eversendai Corp Bhd has secured seven new structural steel contracts worth RM288 million in Dubai, Saudi Arabia, India, Singapore and the Netherlands.

It told Bursa Malaysia that the group bagged three new jobs involving structural steel works for three commercial building towers in Hyderabad, an airport main terminal building and an ITC boiler structure in Chennai.

In the Middle East, Eversendai will undertake structural steel works for the Saudi Pavilion designed for the Dubai Expo 2020 in Dubai and a suspension bridge project in King Abdullah Financial District, Saudi Arabia.

In addition, the group clinched the engineering and fabrication of a jacket and piles contract in the Netherlands.

“The new wins also include a data centre project in Singapore. These contract awards further establish Eversendai as an industry leader in undertaking complex turnkey structural steel works for high rise buildings, composite structures, long span structures, bridges and industrial plants across the globe,” it added.

Currently its outstanding order book stands at RM2.39 billion.

At the noon break, Eversendai’s share price gained 1.3% to 40 sen on 82,000 shares done.
