PETALING JAYA: RHB Banking Group and Malayan Banking Bhd will be waiving the RM1fee for interbank cash withdrawal at ATMs from April 6 until the end of the movement control order period.

“The waiver allows customers from other banks within the MEPS network the convenience of withdrawing funds from any of RHB’s more than 1,100 ATMs nationwide at no extra cost,” said RHB in a statement today.

Likewise, Maybank will be waiving the interbank fee, also effective April 6, to help provide relief to customers of all banks who may have to make cash withdrawals at the nearest ATM/self-service terminal, following the enhanced restricted movement to help curb the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
