TOKYO: Tokyo stocks opened higher on Friday following healthy gains on Wall Street, while the forex market remained stable.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index was up 0.67% or 147.95 points at 22,238.07 in early trade, while the broader Topix index climbed 0.40% or 6.38 points to 1,621.35. — AFP
