UDA in tie-up with Maybank Islamic to offer HouzKEY financing

PETALING JAYA: UDA Holdings Bhd has entered into a strategic partnership with Maybank Islamic to offer the latter’s alternative financing initiative, HouzKEY, in line with UDA’s commitment to introduce initiatives to promote and facilitate home ownership.

UDA said it hopes the collaboration can ease the burden and provide alternative financial assistance for buyers interested in obtaining its Evoke Residences condominium units.

Through HouzKEY, Maybank Islamic offers up to 100% financing and no down payment is charged. In addition, buyers can also get three guarantors to increase the potential for financing approval.

UDA president and CEO Mohd Salem Kailany commented that with the low moving in cost of three months instalment, the initiative would help buyers own a home without having to take a longer time to save money to pay for a high amount of down payment.”

“As property prices increase from time to time, HouzKEY is the best option, especially for young people who are still renting or for first-time home buyers who find it difficult to provide a 10% down payment,” he said in a press release.

Maybank Real Estate Ventures’ managing director Sally Lye said the collaboration will open up opportunities for more Malaysians to own properties without having to worry about the high upfront costs associated with buying a property.

“We want to be the game changer in the market, and Maybank will continue to lend its support in home ownership programmes in Malaysia, in line with the bank’s mission in humanising financial services,” she said.

HouzKEY financing is offered to all who are eligible and meet the requirements set by Maybank Islamic.
