PETALING JAYA: Malaysians who wish to get the Covid-19 vaccine will soon be able to register themselves through the MySejahtera application.
Science , Technology and Innovation Minister Khairy Jamaluddin said today that it will be on a voluntary basis and the MySejahtera application will have the sign-up feature.
“The government is looking to distribute the vaccine to Malaysians who are 18 years old and above. However, the first group to receive the vaccine will be the frontliners and those who are at high risk,” The Malaysian Reserve quoted him as saying during a press conference at Parliament today.
The latest the vaccine will arrive in the country is at the end of February and it will be by Pfizer.
After getting the injections, Khairy said the government will be monitoring the side effects of the vaccines for a couple of years.
