PETALING JAYA: Two Indian nationals were charged in the Magistrate’s Court here today with the murder of a married couple, believed to be their landlord and whose bodies were found in two suitcases at different locations in a drain last month.

Security guards Sagar Sharma, 24, and his younger brother, Shubham Sharma, 19, nodded after the charge was read out to them in English before magistrate Mohamad Ikhwan Mohd Nasir.

However, no plea was recorded from the two men as the case comes under the jurisdiction of the High Court.

The two brothers, who work as security guards, were charged with the murder of Lim Ah Kee @ Lim Kok Hoe, 79, and his wife, Tan Siew Mee, 52, at a house in Jalan USJ 21/10, USJ 21, Subang Jaya between 8pm last Aug 23 and 3.20am the following day.

They face the mandatory death sentence if found guilty of the offence.
