SHAH ALAM: The Selangor state government has provided free accommodation in the form of 287 hotel rooms for frontliners fighting the Covid-19 outbreak in the state.
Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari (pix) said of the total, 204 rooms provided by the Ampang De Palma Hotel, while the remaining 83 rooms are at the Shah Alam De Palma Hotel.
“We are starting with police and the Malaysian Armed Forces personnel before expanding it to other groups,” he said in a statement yesterday.
Amirudin also said that the state government had expanded its cooperation with private hospitals in terms of accepting non-Covid-19 patients from government hospitals. - Bernama
