JEMPOL: The Negri Sembilan government has expanded the free shuttle bus service in Jempol, after receiving good response from the local community for the service first introduced in Seremban.

Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun said the service, which started on Tuesday, was a state government initiative in collaboration with Gtt Liner Sdn Bhd.

“We hope that Jempol people would be able to make good use of this free bus service which is an initiative to ease their financial burden.

“The service would also benefit school students and community college students,“ he told reporters after launching the free shuttle bus service, here today.

Aminuddin said the service was available from 6.30am and 5.30pm at 60 minutes interval with 12 trips daily.

He said the ‘Khidmat Rakyat Jempol’ bus service would start at Taman Tuanku Puan Chik through the main route of Bahau to Bandar Seri Jempol, Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Dato Mansor, Upwell Supermarket, Taman Acbe, Kiara Square, around Bahau town, Bahau bus station, SMK Bahau, Jempol Community College, government complex and Jempol Hospital. - Bernama
