ALOR STAR: The Kedah Forestry Department detained 27 lorries for transporting rubber wood without permits in an overnight operation starting Sunday.
Its director Roslan Rani in a statement here today said the the total seizure amounted to 115 tonnes with the shipments valued at RM50,000.
He added that the department was assisted by the Road Transport Department and police in the operation. — Bernama
