MCO: All restaurants, supermarkets, petrol stations to operate from 8am-8pm

PETALING JAYA: The National Security Council will introduce new measures to tighten the Movement Control Order (MCO) as the second phase comes into effect from April 1.

Defence minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said among the measures to be enforced are:

> Supermarkets, hypermarkets and any premises selling food and food products will only be allowed to operate from 8am to 8pm.

> Restaurants and stalls can only allowed operate from 8am to 8pm

> Petrol stations will only be allowed to operate from 8am to 8pm.

“There will be some different measures imposed compared to the ones that we implemented in the first phase of the MCO,“ he said but stressed that public movement will still be restricted.
