JOHOR BARU: There is sufficient supply of basic necessities and food stocks in the state to meet the needs of the people throughout the implementation of the Movement Control Order (MCO) which came into force to curb the spread of Covid-19.

Johor Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry (KPDNHEP) office in a statement today said this was based on inspections conducted on 941 premises statewide including supermarkets, public markets, sundry shops, wholesalers and manufacturers from March 18 until March 22.

Checks also found that there was no increase of prices of goods in the premises, the statement added. – Bernama
