BATANG KALI: An octogenarian, who was reported missing on Saturday, was found dead in undergrowth by a road shoulder at the Km50, Jalan Ipoh-Kuala Lumpur here yesterday.
Lim Eng Aun, 81, was involved in a road accident on the same day he went missing. He was thrown off his motorcycle and landed in thick bushes.
Hulu Selangor police said a passer-by had alerted the police after spotting Lim’s body in the undergrowth at about 9am on Tuesday.
Preliminary investigations showed that the accident had occurred on Saturday at about 6.30am when the victim left his house in Tanjung Malim for Rawang.
It is believed that Lim had lost control of his machine before crashing and succumbing to his injuries at the scene.
