BATU GAJAH: A Myanmar man was stabbed to death, apparently by his countryman at a shophouse on Laluan Sri Pengkalan 1, Pusing here on Monday.

Batu Gajah district police chief ACP Ahmad Adnan Basri said members of the public informed the police at 6.30pm Monday that a fight had broken out between the two men.

In a statement yesterday, Ahmad Adnan said the 22-year-old victim, who worked at a furniture factory in Pusing for the past one month, was found dead in a room, with blood stains on his chest.

Police also recovered a pair of scissors believed to have been used in the murder.

The suspect, who shared the room with the victim, fled after the incident.
