PETALING JAYA: Below is an extract of a conversation purportedly between former Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission chief Tan Sri Dzulkifli Ahmad, former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak and his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor. The conversation was said to have happened at 11.56pm on Jan 5, 2016.

It was released at MACC headquarters in Putrajaya today.

Rosmah: Hi.

Dzulkifli Ahmad: Sorry for calling this late at night.

Rosmah: No worries what is it about?

Dzulkifli: Actually I wanted to meet Datuk Seri in person earlier because we have received the investigation papers ... the Attorney General’s Chambers received the Investigation Paper yesterday and I wanted to update him. It’s not good ... his position it’s not good. I want to update why his position is not good.

Rosmah: Why? It is because there were three names mentioned?

Dzulkifli: No there’s no three names ... Datuk Seri’s name (is there).

Rosmah: How?

Dzulkifli: Yes, that’s why if possible, I want to meet him.

(Passes phone to Najib.)

Najib: Hello.

Dzulkifli: Datuk Seri, the AGC received the IP yesterday and the proposal is not very good ... not very good.

Najib: How is that so ... how would that involve me?

Dzulkifli: The IP is with me ... (laughs) and when I look at it, it makes me cry.

Najib: But I am not involved at all.

Dzulkifli: Masyaallah ... I don’t know lah Datuk Seri it’s very clear (inaudible) ... I have the IP with me ... I was ordered by the Attorney-General to help him.

Najib: How is it that Abu Kassim (former MACC chief Tan Sri Abu Kassim Mohamed) said something else, and something else happened.

Dzulkifli: What were you informed?

Najib: I was informed its nothing.

Dzulkifli: Ya allah ... (Inaudible) I requested for an audience with you ... Because when I see it (IP) ... it makes me want to cry.

Najib: (Inaudible) If it goes out ... it won’t be nice.

Dzulkifli: Yes ... that’s what I’m fearing the most ... that is why I wanted to updated you ... by requesting an audience with you.

Najib: I’m meeting the AG this Thursday.

Dzulkifli: Oh alright maybe he will update you ... but it is with me ... I already took the IPs and brought it down to my place ... that is no issue ... the AG and I don’t have a problem ... he is very good ... we have the same views but wanted to update you on the proposal by the MACC itself.

Najib: This is not right ... (Inaudible) ... if it goes out ... it won’t be nice.

Dzukifli: Yes, that’s right but that’s why I want you be informed of the matter ... on the legal side we can handle ... Tan Sri Apandi and I ... no issues but ... I never expected that it would become this serious.

MACC Chief Latheefa Koya who revealed the matter earlier today, said the conversation was related to matters concerning SRC International.
