PDRM officers buy groceries for crying mother who lost income after MCO

PETALING JAYA: They say in times of emergencies, you see the character of a person.

For two police officers in Johor Baru, this pandemic has revealed their hearts of gold after they helped out a poor family with groceries.

Corporal Mohd Hisham Mustafa and Constable Mudrikah Nazirul Nordin found the family of three in a public park, clearly violating the Movement Control Order (MCO). When they advised them to comply with the MCO and go home, the wife began crying claiming they had no money and supplies at home.

The duo’s next action tugs at the heartstrings.

The duo took the family to a grocery store and bought them milk for their 16-month-old baby. The family who live in Johor Baru are renting a room, but they are currently both out of work because of the MCO.
