JOHOR BARU: The Road Transport Department (JPJ) is targeting a collection of over RM1 million for the ‘JTR’ series vehicle licence plates, according to its Johor director Razali Wagiman.

He told a press conference at the state JPJ headquarters here today that bidding via JPJ’s online platform JPJebid will be open to the public (must be 18 years and above) and companies for five days from midnight tonight.

This is first time Johor JPJ is using JPJebid. Previously all bids were processed manually.

Companies and those without existing records in JPJ’s mySIKAP system must register at any JPJ office first, except UTCs, to be able to make bids.

Only local credit and debit cards are accepted for payment purposes. The deadline for bids is 11.59pm on Aug 25 and the results will be available the next day (Aug 26).

Queries can be made at aduan.jpjebidssbh@jpj.gov.my or calling 07-3606012. — Bernama
