KUALA LUMPUR: Up to 50 areas in the Petaling District will experience an unscheduled disruption in water supply following a burst pipe at the Jalan Kerinci, Bukit Angkasa intersection at 9 p.m. tonight.
Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) corporate communications head, Elina Baseri said in a statement tonight that water supply will be shutdown at midnight tonight (Aug 7) to allow repairs to be carried out which are expected to be completed by noon tomorrow.
She said water supply will be provided to the affected areas after the repairs are completed and Air Selangor expects the water supply will be fully resumed by 6 p.m. tomorrow.
Lorry tankers will be mobilised to the affected areas to provide water assistance to help the affected consumers, “ he said.
