KUALA LUMPUR: A worker was burned to death in a fire that destroyed a furniture-making factory here last night, it was reported today.

Fire-fighters found the burnt skeletal remains of the man with the help of a sniffer dog at 8.20am today after they were informed that one of the workers was missing in the fire which started at about 6pm yesterday at the single-storey factory in Jalan Industri, Kampung Baru Sungai Buloh, said Selangor Fire & Rescue Department assistant director of operations Hafisham Mohd Noor.

The remains have been handed over to the police, he said when contacted. — Bernama
