THE Panasonic Group of Companies in Malaysia that consists of manufacturing, sales and engineering, research and development, finance and insurance, logistics and procurement, investment holding and management services have thrown their support towards the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission’s (MACC) endeavour in fighting fight corruption by signing the Corruption-Free Pledge today.

Held on Jan 14 at Wisma Panasonic, Petaling Jaya, the ceremony’s main highlight was the zero tolerance pledge against corruption and also a declaration by the signatories to the stakeholders that corruption is intolerable.

This effort is to strengthen the company’s governance based on integrity and ethical work culture.

The pledge ceremony was led by Panasonic Appliances Asia Pacific managing director Hiroyuki Tagishi and witnessed by MACC Chief Commissioner Latheefa Koya.

Among those present at the ceremony were also the managing directors, representatives of the Panasonic Group of Companies in Malaysia, Panasonic members and MACC officers.
