A total of 309 lucky shoppers walked away with prizes worth more than RM180,000 in MR.D.I.Y.’s X MyDebit Wave & Win Contest.
This nationwide contest was a collaboration between MR.D.I.Y. and Payments Network Malaysia Sdn Bhd (Paynet, or MyDebit) that ran from March 15 to June 15.
Norhafizah Mohd Nor walked away with the grand prize of a Honda City 1.5L S while the second prize of two Honda RS150R and a Yamaha 135LC went to Tai Wai Ling, Peh Bee Ling and Then Tho Hui respectively.
The winners of the third prize of the iPhone XS Max (64 GB) are Mohamad Danial Abdullah, Tan Shu Qi, Jamil Idris, Mohammad Zhafran Azharudin and Danny Jau Karing.
Three hundred lucky customers also won the consolation prize of cash vouchers worth RM200 each. The winners of the contest were announced on MR.D.I.Y.’s Facebook page on Aug 23.
Nine of the winners attended a prize-giving ceremony and celebration with MR.D.I.Y. and MyDebit representatives at the New Era Sales Showroom in Kajang on Sept 13. At the ceremony, MR.D.I.Y. Marketing vice president Andy Chin said this is the first time the retailer had teamed up with MyDebit for the contest.
Customers who took part in the contest only needed to wave their MyDebit card for a minimum purchase of RM30 on any product at any MR.D.I.Y. store and scan a QR code to answer two questions. Entries were completed by filling their details into Google link form provided.
