WITH another year coming to an end, Kenny Rogers ROASTERS (KRR) is continuing the tradition of fulfilling the wishes of underprivileged children in their annual Wishing Tree campaign.

This year sees its 14th installment of the campaign where more than 1,6000 children from 44 non-government organisations (NGOs) across Malaysia will have their ‘Wishing Cards’ displayed in all KRR restaurants.

“Since the establishment of the Wishing Tree initiative in 2005, we have managed to fulfill over 20,000 wishes and are as motivated as ever to continue our efforts in bringing smiles to the underprivileged.

Nonetheless, the Wishing Tree initiative would not be so successful without the help of the public who played a significant role in fulfilling the wishes which makes a huge difference in the children’s lives.

As a brand that advocates wholesome eating, we believe that everyone deserves access to wholesome meals and basic necessities,” said Kennie Thong, Local Store Marketing Manager of Berjaya Roasters (M) Sdn. Bhd.

To date, the KRR Community Chest Wishing Tree initiative has fulfilled more than 20,000 simple yet meaningful wishes.

The public are welcome to take part in this campaign which runs from now until the end of December, by visiting any KRR restaurant and select a ‘Wishing Card’ by the children without any limit to the number of wishes to be granted.

Gifts may be wrapped and brought back to the respective KRR restaurants, which will then be delivered to the respective NGOs.
