UPSR science papers rescheduled

PETALING JAYA: The Ujian Pencapaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR) Science paper which was schedule to take place tomorrow, will be postponed to Sept 30 following reports of questions being leaked on social media.
In a statement issued by the Examination Board of the Education Ministry, the board had found that the content of the question paper was had been spread on the social media.
"The Examination Board had made a report to the authorities and are carrying out investigations and taking necessary actions according to the law," the statement said.
It noted that the questions papers, which will be postponed to Sept 30 are Science 018, 028, and 038 papers.
It was reported that a total of 472,853 pupils are sitting for the three-day examination at 8,299 examination centres nationwide since yesterday, and was expected to end tomorrow.
