KUALA LUMPUR: Cardiff City FC owner Tan Sri Vincent Tan hosted Sporting Clube de Portugal (Sporting CP) CEO, Miguel Cal and Nuno Fernando Cardoso, Sporting CP Head of International Business Development at Berjaya Times Square Hotel here on Friday.
The Sporting CP’s visit was to explore the possibilities of collaborating with key football stakeholders in Malaysia.
Sporting CP is particularly excited to collaborate with Tan, who is Berjaya Group founder, due to the various football properties he owns around the world, his experience in the US and his football business acumen.
Sporting CP is also looking forward to welcoming the various football properties (clubs) owned by Tan into their network to expand their development and scouting competence worldwide.
Global football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and Luis Figo are products of the Sporting CP Youth Academy.
