THE ROLLING Stones will celebrate the golden anniversary of their 1969 album with a limited-edition reissue, out on Nov 1 via ABKCO Records.

The box, entitled Let It Bleed (50th anniversary Limited Deluxe Edition), includes a remastered version of the album in both mono and stereo by American mastering engineer Bob Ludwig.

Fans of the British rock band will rediscover classic hits such as Gimme Shelter, Love in Vain, Monkey Man and You Can’t Always Get What You Want, which remained through the years one of the Stones’ most popular recordings.

The box set comprises a poster of the record’s cover art, lithographs, as well as a replica of Honky Tonk Women/You Can’t Always Get What You Want 7” single, which was originally released a few months ahead of Let It Bleed.

A 80-page hardcover book is also included, featuring an essay by journalist David Fricke and never-before-seen photographs by the Stones’ tour photographer, Ethan Russell.

In addition to Let It Bleed (50th anniversary Limited Deluxe Edition), ABKCO Records is also releasing the remastered version of the 1969 album as a stand-alone CD, a vinyl LP, and digitally. - AFP
