Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan wrote a long response to a troll advising him to donate his “extra wealth” so his “wallet is filled with immense love and blessings.”

The actor shared a screenshot of the comment which reads, “How about donating your extra wealth to the needy and poor? I am sure your wallet will be filled with immense love and blessings! Lead by example. Instruction is good but example is worth more!”

Bachchan wrote that he believes that his charitable deeds should not be talked about but “only do it.”

"My personal policy Seema ji stipulates of not talking but doing for others shall ever stand but today your uncalled for provocation, coerces me to break my stand, and I am so so regretting that I have to give explanation,” he wrote.

It turned out that the actor does donate generously and has helped many who were in need.

Among the list of charitable deeds he has done are providing funds to save thousands of farmers from suicide, provided food and provisions for workers in the ‘Industry community’ for 6 months and even took care of barefoot migrant workers by paying for footwear, food and transport fees.

Bachchan even arranged transportation for the migrant workers to return home when they couldn’t due to the pandemic. The actor also donated 15,000 PPE units and over 10,000 masks to hospitals and the police forces in Mumbai.

According to Hindustan Times, Bachchan wrote a poem about the true nature of those who spread negativity about others the next day.

The poem reads:

there are some that are in habituate to talk

there are some that take the talk out of the talk;

they that talk have but no habituate with the issue

they take the talk out of the talk , because they have no name on any issue;

axed in hand they set out to cut the renowned respected icon

it is but ludicrous laughable, when they axe the very branch they sit on!!

Bachchan is currently in home quarantine after getting discharged from Nanavati Hospital. He tested negative for the Covid-19 virus on 2 August.

His daughter-in-law, Aishwarya Rai, and his granddaughter, Aaradhya, were discharged from the hopsital on 27 July.

His son, Abhishek Bachchan, is still in hospital and recently told fans that the prospects of him getting discharged is slim.
