PETALING JAYA: The Movement Control Order (MCO) currently in force, while taking the battle against Covid-19 to the next level, has brought benefits to those who we sometimes take for granted – like homemakers.
Well, with almost the whole family indoors, hooray, they automatically get some help. Chores that they had to handle on their own are now “shared” out! Hubby can attend to the sweeping and mopping while kids can help with the after meal washing and cleaning!
Even seasoned politicians are not spared, as Shah Alam MP Khalid Samad tweeted today he was asked by his wife to attend to a spoilt vacuum cleaner.
“And the wife says, vacuum tu ada rosak sikit. Please take a look at it.
“Here I am, stuck at home and she lists down all the chores that she’s been on about for the last few months.
“Hmmm at least some one is enjoying this ‘social distancing’. Hahaha. But feels like lockdown.”
