Gripped by joint pain

STEVEN, 53, first experienced mild joint discomfort while jogging about three years ago. Jogging has been his routine each evening as a means of relaxation after work. For the past one year, however, the joint stiffness and pain have been bothering him increasingly. Initially, he needed just a day or two to recover. Gradually, the knee pain persisted longer and longer, to the extent that Steven had to give up his evening jogs for good.

He has tried taking glucosamine, chondroitin and even the latest MSM supplements upon recommenda-tions by friends. Although these did help to ease the problem in the beginning, the knee pain soon returned. On certain days, when the pain is unbearable, Steven needs to take some painkillers just to get by even though his tummy acts up when he takes them. Although he doesn’t like to depend on painkillers, it seems a better idea than suffering the joint pain daily.

In a recent study published in the journal Trial in 2016, led by Prof Robert Girandola from the University of Southern California and Dr Shalini Srivastava from Dayalbagh Educational Institute, some breakthrough findings are observed amongst patients with osteoarthritis. A unique patented herbal formulation, Lanconone®, at a dose of two capsules each time, was able to relieve joint pain as quickly and as effectively as Ibuprofen, a widely used painkiller.

Lanconone® is a proprietary botanical compound, which comprises seven Ayurvedic herbs, namely Commiphora mukul (Indian bdellium-tree), Boswellia serrata (Indian olibanum), Withania somnifera (Indian ginseng), Oroxylum indicum (Indian trumpet tree), Smilax china (China root), Pluchea lanceolata (Rasna) and Zingiber officinale (ginger).

Beyond pain relief benefits, Lanconone® also supports joint recovery as patients regained increased mobility and ability after at least three months by taking the right dose of two capsules twice a day. Lanconone® complements every other joint supplement with its distinctive mechanism of actions. Lanconone® is also a promising alternative for patients who are allergic to NSAIDs painkillers and is vegetarian-friendly.

Steven came across Lanconone® while researching online. At the pharmacy, he was advised to start with a dose of two capsules twice daily after food. Within a week, he certainly noticed that the stiffness in his knees had lessened considerably even though the joint pain did not diminish totally. Gradually over the next few weeks, Steven found that he could move around quite freely without the joint pain in the way.
