WHAT is happening to our world today? How much finances do we need to live a comfortable life?

There are people who accumulate more than they would ever be able to use in their lifetime. They throw ethics to the wind and use whatever means to get rich quickly.

Many parents think of leaving money for their children, so that they too can live well. Often, what happens is that children are not taught the value of hard work and the importance of hard-earned money.

These children, not having earned the money themselves, spend lavishly and waste resources. They sometimes even threaten their parents if they do not get what they want.

So what should our philosophy in life be? Yes, money is important; without it, we cannot live a comfortable life. However, it should be earned through honest means.

We need to instil in our children, the importance of hardwork and not to give in to their every demand. Time and again, we have seen, through the experiences of many, that children not only squander the property but are not even able to stand on their own feet. So what was the benefit of all that accumulated wealth?
