Britain's Pret A Manger to close 30 UK shops and cut jobs

LONDON, July 6 (Reuters) - British coffee and sandwich chain Pret A Manger said on Monday 30 UK shops will no longer reopen after the coronavirus lockdown and it would cut jobs across its remaining outlets to reflect the major hit to customer demand the crisis has caused.
It said sales across UK shops were 74% down year-on-year. (Reporting by James Davey; editing by Kate Holton)
