Indonesia's proposed budget for Sinovac vaccines at $1.49 bln - minister

    JAKARTA, Jan 14 (Reuters) - Indonesia has proposed a budget of 20.9 trillion rupiah ($1.49 billion) for procurement of Sinovac's COVID-19 vaccine, its health minister on Thursday.

    The government also estimated the country's mass vaccination campaign could cost 66 million to 75 trillion rupiah ($4.7 billion to $5.34 billion), he told parliament. Indonesia has received 3 million doses of the Sinovac vaccine, known as CoronaVac and is slated to receive some 122.5 million more.
