The Tampa Bay Lightning announced Thursday that they have re-signed forward Patrick Maroon and defenseman Luke Schenn.

Maroon signed a two-year deal worth $1.8 million and Schenn's is for one year, $800,000.

Maroon, 32, assisted on the game-winning goal in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final for the Lightning, who defeated the Dallas Stars for the title. Maroon posted six points in the playoffs and 23 during the regular season. He became the eighth player in NHL history to win back-to-back titles with two different teams. Maroon won with St. Louis in 2019.

Maroon has 97 goals in 513 career games with the Lightning, Blues, New Jersey Devils, Edmonton Oilers and Anaheim Ducks. He tallied a career-best 27 goals while with Edmonton during the 2016-17 season.

Schenn, 30, skated in 11 postseason games after Ryan McDonagh went down with an injury. The Lightning lost defensemen Kevin Shattenkirk and Zach Bogosian in free agency.

Schenn has 31 goals and 148 points in 759 career games with the Lightning, Vancouver Canucks, Anaheim Ducks, Arizona Coyotes, Los Angeles Kings, Philadelphia Flyers and Toronto Maple Leafs.
