Soccer-Fernando Gago named coach of Argentine club Aldosivi

BUENOS AIRES, Jan 16 (Reuters) - Former Real Madrid and Boca Juniors midfielder Fernando Gago was appointed coach of Argentine club Aldosivi on Saturday.
Gago retired from football two months ago after a series of serious injuries and will take up his first managerial role at the Mar del Plata club.
The 34-year old also enjoyed playing spells at AS Roma, Valencia and Velez Sarsfield and played for Argentina at the 2014 World Cup, as well as at three Copa America tournaments.
