Zeta weakens into a tropical storm - U.S. NHC

    Oct 27 (Reuters) - Zeta has weakened into a tropical storm but is expected to regain hurricane strength as it moves over the southern Gulf of Mexico on Tuesday, the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) said.

    Zeta is about 85 miles (140 km) east-southeast of Progreso, Mexico, with maximum sustained winds of 70 mph (110 kph), the center added. (Reporting by Brijesh Patel in Bengaluru; Editing by Andrew Heavens)
