King receives credentials of 13 envoys, hands over appointment letters to seven

KUALA LUMPUR: Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah today received the credentials of 13 new envoys to Malaysia and handed over the instruments of appointment to seven new Malaysian envoys, at Istana Negara.
The envoys to Malaysia are Jose Balaguer Salas (of Argentina), Peter Vincent (Papua New Guinea), Anne Namakau Mutelo (Namibia), Emir Hadzikadunic (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Rath Many (Cambodia), Petri Puhakka (Finland), Yu Hyun-Seok (South Korea), Muhammadi Muzaffar Munavvarzod (Tajikistan), Laura Donoso Gonzalez (Equador), Olexander Nechytaylo (Ukraine), Egidijus Meilunas (Lithuania), Charles Namondwe (Malawi) and Helena Drnovsek Zorko (Slovenia).
Tuanku Abdul Halim and Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Hajah Haminah posed for photographs with the envoys.
Tuanku Abdul Halim handed over the instruments of appointment to Abd Razak Abdul Wahab (who has been posted to Turkey), Roseli Abdul (Turkmenistan), Muzafar Shah Mustafa (Venezuela); Mohd Hassan Bal (Croatia); Datuk Raszlan Abdul Rashid (the Philippines), Datuk Mahinder Singh Ram Singh (Switzerland) and Datuk Hasnudin Hamzah (Belgium).
Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Anifah Aman and Foreign Ministry Secretary-General Datuk Othman Hashim were also present at the events. — Bernama
