Diana Chan's homecoming celebration

MALAYSIAN born Diana Chan who won the MasterChef Australia Season 9 is set for a triumphant homecoming to Malaysia for the first time since her nail-biting victory in the hit reality competion series that was aired on Lifetime (Astro Channel 709).
Born in Sitiawan, Perak and raised in Johor Baru, Chan, 29, grew up drawing inspiration from her parents' Peranakan cooking at home before leaving for Australia to pursue her studies and career. She did Malaysia proud by winning the popular culinary competition reality TV series and bagging the grand prize of AUD250,000 (RM826,827) in cash.
The 29-year-old accountant's journey in the competition saw her garner a strong Malaysian fan-base, thanks to her cool, collected and versatile approach in the kitchen, and for spotlighting the varied and wonderful flavours of Malaysia.
To share the joy of her achievement, Chan is returning home to meet her fans in Kuala Lumpur. You can catch her in person at a special public appearance at South Court (Ground Floor), Mid Valley Megamall on Oct 7 from 3pm to 5pm.
She will share her amazing experiences from the competition and answer all fan questions, along with a special live cooking demonstration of one of her signature dishes.
MasterChef Asia Malaysian finalists, Jasbir Kaur and Marcus Low, will also be part of the celebrations and will be showcasing their skills beginning 12pm.
The event will be streamed on Facebook Live by @LifetimeAsia to enable as many fans as possible to join in the fun of Diana's homecoming.
