Najib extends felicitations to Johor royalty for new-born baby

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak today extended felicitations to the Johor royal family on the birth of an heir to the Johor throne.
He conveyed his felicitations to the Sultan of Johor Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar, Tunku Mahkota Johor Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim and the entire Johor royal family.
The message was in conjunction with the birth of a baby boy to Che' Puan Khaleeda Bustamam, the wife of the Tunku Mahkota Johor, today.
"Felicitations to the Sultan of Johor, Tunku Mahkota and the entire Johor royal family on the birth of an heir to the Johor throne," Najib said in his Twitter account.
The birth was announced by the Johor Council of Royal Court president Datuk Abdul Rahim Ramli in a statement today.
Tunku Ismail and Che' Puan Khaleeda were blessed with a baby girl on June 25 last year.

Meanwhile, in JOHOR BARU, the Johor government also extended congratulations to the royal couple on the birth of their second child.
In a statement, Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin also conveyed the congratulations to the Sultan of Johor Sultan Ibrahim Almarhum Sultan Iskandar and Permaisuri Johor Raja Zarith Sofiah Almarhum Sultan Idris Shah.
"On behalf of the Johor state government, I wish to thank Allah and convey the highest congratulations to Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim, Tunku Mahkota Johor and Che' Puan Khaleeda Bustamam on the birth of the prince on Oct 14, 2017," he said. — Bernama
