Another baby suffers effects of contaminated milk powder in Johor

PONTIAN: The parents of a baby boy here sent him to a private hospital in Iskandar Putri for outpatient treatment as they suspect he may have consumed imitation baby milk powder bought in Pontian.
The seven-month-old baby had been boy's family member when contacted said, the related milk powder company had sent its representative to investigate the case after being informed by the hospital today.
He said he was asked to provide information where he bought the milk powder to the milk powder company.
The baby milk powder was bought from a shop in Pontian here a few months ago.
"The baby had been vomiting for a couple of weeks, and I am felt relieved the baby only received outpatient treatment," he added.
