Alibaba Group's Tmall hosts 1000 guests at CNY dinner

MEGA REUNION ... Alibaba Group's Tmall World hosted over 1,000 guests at its "Tmall World Chinese New Year Dinner" in Setia City Convention Centre, Shah Alam.
Comprising 300 children from five charity homes in the Klang Valley, plus almost 700 Malaysian Tmall fans and consumers, local partners and business merchants – the dinner event included a 'lou yee sang session' followed by a lion and dragon dance on stilts, and a 24 seasons drum performance.
Internationally-renowned Malaysian artiste Michael Wong, known as 'Guang Liang', made a special appearance and entertained guests. Furthermore, carnival games kept both young and young-at-heart amused.
Tmall World Southeast Asia business development manager Cici Cai (fourth from left) expressed her delight in celebrating the auspicious festivity and connecting with the local community.
