KOREAN singer and rapper B.I is set to perform live in Kuala Lumpur as part of his 2024 “Hype Up” tour’s Asian leg.

Organised by Lo-Fi Entertainment, the concert is scheduled to take place at Mega Star Arena in Kuala Lumpur on June 30 at 6pm.

B.I, whose real name is Kim Han-bin, rose to fame as the leader of K-pop boy band iKon. Following his departure from YG Entertainment and iKon in 2019, B.I embarked on a solo career on 2021, capturing the attention of fans with his unique style and talent.

The musician released his solo debut under the label 131, which he founded himself, releasing the album Midnight Blue (Love Streaming). Proceeds from this album were directed towards supporting children in crisis through World Vision.

With an impressive discography that includes two studio albums and four EPs, B.I has embarked on headlining tours across Asia and Europe, in addition to gracing the stages of major music festivals like Lollapalooza and Rolling Loud.

In 2022, B.I’s collaboration with American rapper Soulja Boy and South Korean artiste DeVita for BTBT was recognised by Time magazine as one of the best K-pop songs of the year.

Renowned not only as a performer but also as a songwriter and producer, B.I is a member of the Korea Music Copyright Association, with over 100 registered songs under his name. His credits extend to artistes such as Blackpink and Psy, among others, in the K-pop industry.

B.I’s Hype Up tour is set to kick off in Seoul on May 18, before making its way to seven other Asian cities, including Kuala Lumpur, as he brings his unique energy and talent to audiences across the region.

Tickets for B.I’s upcoming concert are priced from RM338 to RM788, with sales beginning today.
