PETALING JAYA: Billionaire financier Low Taek Jho has instructed his lawyers to get in touch with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
This follows reports that the anti-graft agency wants to question him regarding SRC International Sdn Bhd, once a subsidiary of 1Malaysia Development Bhd.
"Through media reports dated June 7, 2018, Mr Low was made aware of MACC requesting his assistance," a spokesman for the businessman, also known as Jho Low, said in a statement.
"Following this, Mr Low immediately instructed his lawyers to make contact with MACC today, with respect to offering such assistance."
MACC earlier said it was looking for Low and Nik Faisal Ariff Kamil Nik Othman Arif Kamil, who is a director of SRC International.
