M-Mode bags RM260.57m construction contract

PETALING JAYA: M-Mode Bhd's wholly owned subsidiary E&J Builders Sdn Bhd (E&J) has been appointed as a contractor to undertake construction work for the proposed 25-storey mixed commercial development project in Kota Kinabalu with a contract sum of RM260.57 million.
The group said in a bourse filing that it had accepted a letter of award from Titijaya PMC Sdn Bhd on behalf of Messrs Blu Waterfront Development Sdn Bhd for the project located at Jalan Tun Fuad Stephens.
The project is expected to go on for three years from June 8, 2018 until May 6, 2021 and is expected to contribute positively to the group 's earnings and net assets for the financial year ending May 31, 2019.
M-Mode shares gained 1.79% to close at 28.5 sen with 154,900 shares traded.
