PETALING JAYA: Social media platform Facebook users have claimed that their posts are going missing earlier today until the time of writing.

The Star reported that the issue has not affected all Facebook users as some posts can be viewed in certain accounts but other accounts show a notice reading “no posts available.”

Website outage tracker Downdetector had recorded an uptick of reports regarding the issue between the hours of 11am today until around 5.20pm.

The tracker reported that 53 per cent of users have reported the glitch within the Facebook application whereas 26 per cent have reported experiencing the glitch on the social media website.

However, users of the social media platform can still view profiles.

The cause of the issue has not been identified until now (the time of writing) as Facebook and its parent company Meta have not issued any statement on the matter.
