David Beckham would wear sarong again

DAVID Beckham (pix) insists he doesn't regret wearing a sarong on a night out with wife Victoria in 1998 and he would be happy to put one on in public again.
The 39-year-old hunk was universally mocked after he was seen wearing the skirt-like garment on a night out with wife Victoria Beckham in 1998, but he insists he still has a penchant for the clothing.
He said: "Sarongs are great. That's one thing I never regret because I thought it looked great and I would still wear it now.
"Over the years it's not just myself, everybody looks back at old pictures of themselves and thinks, 'I can't believe I wore that, or I wish I hadn't wore that, or what was I thinking?'
"You make mistakes over the years or you wear things that were right at the time."
The retired footballer admits he often gets advice from wife Victoria about what he should wear and insists he trusts the fashion designer's opinion.
Speaking on ITV morning show 'Lorraine', he added: "She has her say ... well, she has opinions. I'm my own person so I think if something looks good then I'll wear it. But she definitely has opinions over the years about certain things I wore.
"When you're in a relationship, when you are married then you trust their judgement. And she's got a pretty good eye."
However, David - who has sons Brooklyn, 15, Romeo, 12 and Cruz, nine, as well as three-year-old daughter Harper with Victoria - admits he doesn't tend to vary his clothing choices as he knows what he likes and sticks to it.
He said: "I'm always in black jeans, black T-shirt and my Go-To boots. I have got more than one black T-shirt though and one more pair of black jeans."
While the former England captain doesn't change up his clothing choices much, he admits he is "very proud" of former Spice Girls singer Victoria's achievements in the fashion industry.
He added: "I'm very proud of what she's achieved, what she's done. To go from being a Spice Girl, the biggest girl band in history, to be respected in the fashion industry, that's something that doesn't happen overnight.
"To see the scale of what she's created is special." – Bang Media
