Nizar Jamaluddin is now Perak Amanah deputy chairman

IPOH: Former Perak PAS deputy commissioner and Changkat Jering assemblyman Datuk Seri Mohamad Nizar Jamaluddin had his seating position changed at the state assembly sitting today after he joined Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah).
Speaker Datuk Seri S.K. Devamany told the house that he had received a letter on Monday from Mohamad Nizar that he had joined the new party.
"Now we have four opposition parties in the assembly," he added.
Mohamad Nizar, the former Perak Mentri Besar under the Pakatan Raykat administration in 2008, is now Perak Amanah deputy chairman.
