Sultan Ahmad Shah named first chancellor of KUIPSAS

KUANTAN: The Sultan of Pahang, Sultan Ahmad Shah has been proclaimed first chancellor of Kolej Universiti Islam Pahang Sultan Ahmad Shah, (KUIPSAS) after it was upgraded to university college status in October.
The inauguration of Sultan Ahmad Shah as chancellor was held at KUIPSAS here yesterday where the Sultanah of Pahang, Sultanah Hajjah Kalsom, was also present.
In his speech during the ceremony, Sultan Ahmad Shah said he was proud of the outstanding achievements of the institution which was established in 1996, thanks to the vision of scholars in the state. — Bernama
