Three people killed in accident at Puchong

KUALA LUMPUR: Three individuals, including a woman who is believed to be pregnant, were killed when the car they were in skidded into a drain in front of a supermarket in Puchong this morning.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director Mohd Sani Harun said they received a distress call about 9.50am and a team of six personnel from the Puchong station rushed to the scene.
"The victims, comprising two women and a man, believed aged between 20 and 42, were thrown out of the vehicle right after it crashed at Jalan PU3, Taman Puchong Utama.
"The vehicle, a Honda CRV, was badly damaged," he said.
It is learnt the victims were a local and two Indonesian women.
Mohd Sani said the victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
The bodies were sent to the Serdang Hospital for post-moterm.
The identity of the victims has not been ascertained at press time.
The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for careless driving and causing death.
