Online survey is a scam, says Pos Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Pos Malaysia Bhd has clarified that an online survey appearing on certain websites was a scam and had not authorised it in any way.
In a statement here, Pos Malaysia said it did not enlist third-party services in organising activities and all announcements were made via official channels such as its social media channels.
The alleged online survey lures the customer into responding to the survey by claiming the respondent as one of ten chosen to receive branded smart phones.
However, the respondent is required to answer four questions on Pos Malaysia's services and provide their contact details
"We believe the scammer is trying to trick the respondents by using Pos Malaysia's brand without authorisation. As such, we advise the public to disregard the online survey. We shall not be held liable for any claims pertaining to the false scheme," it said.
