Remains of Malaysian student killed in Edinburgh accident to be flown home soon

PUTRAJAYA: The body of Malaysian medical student of the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, Zhi Min Soh, who was killed in an accident on May 31, will be brought home soonest possible.
The Higher Education Ministry in a statement today said Zhi's family had been informed of the matter.
It said arrangements to bring her remains home were being made by Education Malaysia, the Malaysian High Commission, Public Service Department, police, hospital, and the University of Edinburgh.
According to media reports, Zhi, 23, died after being hit by a tour bus upon falling off her bicycle when its wheels got stuck in the trams tracks in Edinburgh city.
Zhi, a fourth-year medical student on a Public Service Department scholarship, died from serious injuries at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.
In light of the incident, the Higher Education Ministry reminded Malaysian students to always be careful and take care of their safety when they move around for their daily activities. — Bernama
