PETALING JAYA : Oil and gas counters were among the most actively traded this morning as crude oil prices continued its downward streak.
Sapura Energy Bhd which was the most active counter at early trade, saw its share price fall as much as 4.76% to 30 sen.
At 11.35 am, the stock was trading at 30.5 sen. with 50.28 million shares done.
Hibiscus Petroleum Bhd‘s share price declined as much as 5% to 76 sen.
At 11.35 am, Hibiscus’ shares were trading at 77.5 sen with 22.66 million shares done.
Hibiscus was the third most active counter during the session.
At press time Brent Crude Oil was trading at US$ 50.28 per barrel (bbl), 0.37% lower than the previous day’s closing price of US$50.47/bbl.
